1 What It Does

Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin analog that promotes satiety and slows gastric emptying — suppressing appetite through a different pathway than GLP-1s. It's often paired with semaglutide (as CagriSema) for additive weight-loss effect.

GLP-1 complement

Cagrilintide works through amylin, not GLP-1 — which is why it stacks well with semaglutide/tirzepatide for appetite control via two pathways.

3 Reconstitution & Draw

Based on a 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water. Draw to the units shown on a U-100 insulin syringe.

U-100 syringe: 100 units = 1 mL. The standard protocol uses 2 mL water for a 10-unit dose.
Titrate as needed

Run 2–3× weekly or as needed for appetite suppression; many adjust frequency to their hunger response.
