1 What It Does

Oxytocin is the body's bonding and connection hormone. Supplemented, it's used to support mood, social connection, intimacy, and feelings of closeness. It's reconstituted in a large volume (10 mL) to make the small 50 mcg doses easy to measure.

Large recon volume

Oxytocin uses 10 mL of BAC water on a 10 mg vial — far more than most peptides — so each 50 mcg dose lands at an easy 5 units.

3 Reconstitution & Draw

Based on a 10 mg vial reconstituted with 10 mL BAC water. Draw to the units shown on a U-100 insulin syringe.

10 mg vial · 10 mL water · 50 mcg dose
BAC water addedConcentrationDraw for 50 mcg
10 mL1000 mcg/mL5 units
5 mL2000 mcg/mL2.5 units
Note10 mL recon = 200 doses of 50 mcg
U-100 syringe: 100 units = 1 mL. The large 10 mL recon keeps the small 50 mcg dose at a readable 5 units.
Multi-vial recon

10 mL won't fit one vial — split the water across the powder in stages, or use a larger sterile mixing vial.
